This makes portion control very difficult to determine. It’s not just about eating the right things, but eating them in the right quantities. In our office, we do more than just show you a standard, healthy diet plan. We go a step farther by using basic lab work (including hormonal and metabolic analysis) plus a genetic analysis to make sure you are eating the foods that are most beneficial for your body.
Exercise is another key factor, but not every exercise is right for every person. This causes so many people to get frustrated with going to the gym or trying new exercise programs, only to end up with little to no weight loss. This makes people give up on exercise, which is not good for anyone’s health. The Wellness Institute of the Americas will create an exercise program that is built just for you, based partially on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). These short (30 to 40 minutes each) sessions have been shown to increase the capacities of the body in order to achieve and maintain health and fitness.
